IEEE Transformers Committee Meeting to Address Standards Development to be Held 17-21 March 2013
Many standards and standards projects related to power and energy are sponsored by IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES). The Transformers Committee – one of the largest committees of the IEEE PES – will be hold it’s Spring 2013 Meeting in Munich, Germany from 17-21 March 2013, to develop and update standards and guidelines for the design, testing, repair, installation, operation, and maintenance of transformers, reactors, and associated components that are used within the electric utility and industrial power systems. A technical tour of Reinhausen Manufacturing Inc. will also be held. This tour is open to all meeting participants.
Anyone interested in learning more about transformers or the standards development process, is welcome to attend this meeting.
